10 miles from Albany driving north on the sunny interstate 87, you will find the exit 8. The sign says "Crescent - Vischer Ferry Road", but you will not find this part of Vischer Ferry Road on most on-line maps. Make sure to go in the right direction.
There is a short driveway leading to the entrance of the house. There is some parking on the side, some behind the tree and some next to the entrance where Carrie always leaves her car.
If you walk behind the house, you will see the shed, some more trees, flowers and even a grill made out of bricks. The back of the house has a big window where you can see what is going on inside the house.
So, you want to see the inside of the house? Well, let us step to the entrance. This is where Andy and Carrie sit outside in Summer. Sometimes they eat here, or sometimes they just sit here watching traffic go by.
Welcome in! The first room you will see is the small living room. There is a fireplace and a nice arch architecture with the view of the front lawn and the kitchen.
Standing inside looking towards the back of the house, you can see the big window from the inside. As you can see, there are lots of trees in the back of the house. The window porch is used by cats to rest and contemplate important life decisions. The back side has a nice brick wall, which augments the arches. Dining area
Going left from the dining room, we come to the back room, sometimes called the sun room. This room is in winter primarily used for cats and storage, but in summer it is the way to the back yard, where the fun is.
Turning left from the back room, you enter the master bathroom. The beautiful scenography on the shower curtain is there to remind people on how beautiful the world is.
Uncovering the curtain,... Hey, it is a jacuzzi. And it is sunk in. That is life. It has eight jets and it makes taking bath as enjoyable as it can be.
Coming back from the luxury, you should stop in the kitchen. This is a modern kitchen with lots of important and useful features. It has, for example, island with stove, oven on the height of the hands. In the back you can see the arches leading to the small leaving room.
In the side of the house, there are small bathroom, Carrie's work room and Andy's work room. If you enter to one of the work rooms, chances are you will see either Andy or Carrie working on something.
Across from the corridor, there is the master bedroom. It is a comfortable room with two windows with the view to the yard. Sometimes the cats actually come and sleep under the blankets.
That is all. We hope you liked the tour and we sure hope you will stop by soon. On the way out, please look at lovely plants growing around the house and be careful when entering the road. It can be busy sometimes. [edit] The Seasons in Upstate New York
